Head of Operational Performance Competence Centre Job Details | Neste

In your role, you will lead a global team that is accountable for defining standards, requirements and performance measures that improve the performance of Neste’s production units across the globe. You and your team will, amongst others, steer and improve the Neste Refine and Blend process globally.

You will lead Neste’s growth towards world class, effective and efficient end-to-end value driven refinery management processes with measurable impact.

You will work closely together with your colleagues in the Refining Competence Centre (RCC) Leadership Team, with business stakeholders at refineries’ operations leadership teams, and with commercial and supply teams.

The job is located in one of Neste production locations, i.e. Porvoo (FI), Rotterdam (NL) or Singapore. Some travelling is expected due to the global nature of the role.

Your role in our team

• Steering and continually improving the global Neste Refine and Blend process including its associated standards and culture in a Fit-for-purpose way.

• Together with the colleagues in Refining Competence Centre LT analyzing & improving the overall performance of Neste assets by prioritizing common plans together with business stakeholders.

• Building and leading team to maximize performance, development and employee fulfillment

• Building a global network of stakeholders to drive impact and culture with an appreciation for diversity. You will collaborate and influence cross functional, cross regional, cross layer.

Keys to success in this role

• Strong (10+ years) experience at managerial level in petrochemical processes, technology and seasoned operations management

• High commitment to safety and safety standards

• Results, business and safety -driven mindset

• Ability to understand key strategic business issues

• Proven skills in communication and leadership, incl. change leadership

• Proven ability to influence multiple levels of an organization

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills

• University level degree in relevant field

• Fluent spoken and written English
